Looking for a local corn maze or hayride in Southeastern Virginia, including Richmond, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, etc.?  Scroll down this page and you will see the all of those in Southeastern Virginia, including Richmond, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, etc., sorted by county. Some are huge corn mazes with hayrides, pumpkins, corn cannons, inflatables and others are simple corn mazes with little else.  Most also have loads of pumpkins to choose from.  To really make it fun for  your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn cannon, cow train, inflatables, farm animals, pumpkin patch or zip lines.  There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the  more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. A LWAYS call before you go to confirm whether they are open this year and any requirements, they don't always report changes to me, and many closed permanently due to the covid lockdowns!

Didn't know what to expect the first time we went there, but we were pleasantly surprised in the Spring that we went back again this Fall annd had a fantastic visit both times. There are restrooms, plenty of parking, very easy to get to off the Chesapeake 168 Bypass. Greenbrier Farms is run by Kent Basnight of Basnight Lawn & Landscaping. We first visited the farm in the Spring during the Bllom Festival. At the time our son was 3 and our daughter was 6 months and they had a blast. We were there all day. We went back in the Fall hoping they would be doing something and had even more fun. The pick your own pumpkins are HUGE. $10.00 flat fee for any sized pumpkin. They take cash, credit cards or you can buy your tickets ahead of time on the internet. There's a link on the website if you are interested in getting your tickets ahead of time. They have farm animals to visit, concession so you can get food and have a picnic - all sorts of games set up for the kids, farm equipment that kids can climb on a big tire swing. The staff is incredible friendly and there are 2 farm labradors that hang out hang out during events - Greenbrier and Hickory. At night during October, they have the Trail of Fears and bands, radio stations or a DJ. It's a great place and I can't say enough positive things about it!"

Our daughter is two and she loved seeing all the different sizes and colors of pumpkins and gourds. Although this pumpkin patch is small, the family has put a LOT of love and care into creating the corn maze, decorated areas, and hayride. You won't spend a whole day here by any means, but it is well worth the trip and a fabulous family Halloween activity."
