Looking for a local corn maze or hayride in Chattanooga and Southeast Tennessee?  Scroll down this page and you will see the all of thoses in Chattanooga and Southeast Tennessee, sorted by county. Some are huge corn mazes with hayrides, pumpkins, corn cannons, inflatables and others are simple corn mazes with little else.  Most also have loads of pumpkins to choose from.  To really make it fun for  your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn cannon, cow train, inflatables, farm animals, pumpkin patch or zip lines.  There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the  more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm the info, they don't always report changes to me!

Especially this year, due to Coronavirus, be sure to click on the links to confirm this year's dates and activities; many have cut back on activities. Corn mazes tend to be open, pumpkins are usually for sale.  Mostly, it is things like festivals, inflatables and groups activities that are restricted in 2020. If they don't have a website or Facebook page, call email them directly or call the phone number provided, but ALWAYS CONFIRM THIS YEAR'S DATES AND TIMES BY BEFORE YOU GO.

    A visitor writes on September 15, 2011: "highly recommended by friends and coworkers. We plan to go for the first time when it opens in October.     257 Tennessee 307, Athens, TN 37303. Phone: 423-744-4866. Directions: From Interstate 75: Take Exit #52 (Mt. Verd, Athens). Travel East on 305 for 3.2 miles and turn left on County Road 378 (Tellico Avenue). Go 1.2 miles and turn left on Highway 307. Travel ¾ mile to the Corn Maze (entrance will be on the left). From Mayfield Dairy's Visitors Center: Turn left (North) on Highway 307 and travel 2.0 miles to the Corn Maze (entrance will be on the left). Open: From September 2 to October 31 on Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 pm, Saturday from 1-9 pm, Sunday from 1-5 pm. Oddly, the Mayfield website uses a terrible design which makes it very difficult to find the information about the corm maze.  Here's a direct link to the page (pdf). There is another article that tells all about it. They have animated cows that the kids can actually milk by hand, an animal barn with a variety of animals, a tour of an operational dairy parlor showing how cows are milked, hay rides, a corn cannon, kiddie tractors (tricycles) and educational silos. Mayfield ice cream treats, snacks and drinks are available during the week. Hot dogs, hamburgers and concessions will be available on the weekends. The maze will be open during the week for school groups with reservations and to the general public on weekends. 2008 Admission is $8.00 per person (four years and under are free).
