all of those in Southern Maine and Portland, sorted by county. Some are huge corn mazes with hayrides, pumpkins, corn cannons, inflatables and others are simple
corn mazes with little else. Most also have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it
fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a
corn cannon, cow train, inflatables, farm animals, pumpkin patch or zip lines. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of
course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. A LWAYS call before you go

A visitor writes on October 12, 2011: "This is a GREAT
family place to visit if you have young kids. Not much shade to sit
in, but there are plenty of picnic tables. Lots of variety of picked
pumpkins, squash and gourds to choose from. Staff not overly friendly,
but they're mostly teenagers, so you get what you get. The pumpkin
patch is large and you have to do a little searching to find nice
looking pumpkins that aren't rotten or partially eaten. They sell
kettle corn that they make on-site; a mini corn maze for kids, as well
as a full 6-acre corn maze, where they also offer night-maze times;
there is a corn cannon launch (3 ears free with admission); a John
Deere tractor pull ride for kids under 12 (1 free ride with
admission); 2 corn boxes (like a sand box, only made with corn instead
of sand); there is a cow and her calf at the entrance, some white
turkeys in a pen, 3 pigs, 2 goats you can feed; a giant "pillow" kids
and adults can bounce on (like a moon bounce without sides-- see
website); tire climbing structure; tube slide."
