A
visitor writes on October 13, 2008: "An Orland
tradition, the corn maze and pumpkin patch have been around for
years. The whole operation is run by a local family and they work
with the community. The pumpkins and corn maze are grown every year
with help from the local 4-H division and the are even special fund
raising events that benefit 4-H and Orland High School. They offer a
large selection of heirloom pumpkins, specialty gourds and some
delectable varieties perfect for pie. If your looking to make the
perfect jack-o-lantern you can pick your pumpkin yourself or pick
from the piles they've already selected. If your missing that
special touch to your fall decorations they have dried corn stalks
available. As if all thats not enough they even sell local honey.
